A
WORD FROM OUR DIRECTORS
|
I began the serious study of music when I was eleven years old and it is still my passion today. What is it about something that commands such an integral place in my life after nearly fifty years of involvement? A proper answer would take volumes, but in this space I will keep it simple. It can be said in one word........... joy. I have experienced incredible joy in my life from the study of music and I have seen similar effects in literally thousands of my students. Music just makes everything better including people. I recommend that you find the time to learn for yourself all the amazing things that studying music can do for you.

Music is an important aspect of life.
Every great society has music. Without it life becomes dull and
boring. You can not go a day in your life without listening to
music. Working with the students, parents, teachers and administrators
at Sawgrass Springs Middle School for the past four years has
been a joy! Our community needs volunteers! I encourage all of
you to volunteer and give of yourself. Our children need you!
