Winter Concert
Tuesday, Dec 16, 2003
The Winter Concert at Stoneman
Douglas Auditorium was terrific.
All groups presented very very well.
Mrs. Andreano, other school administrators, and teachers were there
supporting the band program, and the auditorium was filled to capacity.
At the end, everybody sang together. We all had a great time.

Select seventh and eight
grade students are presently working on music from the Florida Bandmasters
evaluation list in order to prepare for the Music Performance Assessment
in early April. We are hoping for a Superior rating
but we know that they arte very
difficult to achieve.
Select sixth graders are preparing music for the elementary school
matriculation programs.
It is our hope that the best and the brightest students will be
encouraged to join the SSMS band next year. We want to keep a good
thing going.
